Ingredients
| 1/2c, softened | Anchor Unsalted Butter |
| 1/2c (Topping) | Anchor Whipping Cream |
| 1/2c, softened (Topping) | Anchor Cream Cheese |
| 3c | Cake Flour |
| 1 Tbsp. | Baking Powder |
| 1 Tsp. | Baking Soda |
| 1 1/3c | Caster sugar |
| 3 pcs | Eggs |
| 2 Tsp. | Vanilla |
| 1/2c | Applesauce |
| 1/2c | Sour cream |
| 3Tbsp | Spiced filling: Brown sugar |
| 2Tbsp | Spiced filling: Cinnamon powder |
How to cook
- Preheat oven to 350F. Butter and flour a tube pan or cake pan. Set aside.
- Sift all dry ingredients in a bowl. Set aside.
- Cream the butter and the sugar till light and fluffy. Add the eggs and mix till smooth. Add the applesauce and 1/2 c of the sour cream. Alternately add the flour mixture and the remaining sour cream and mix till combined.
- In a separate bowl, place 1 cup of the cake batter and add the brown sugar and cinnamon powder. Stir to blend.
- Place ½ remaining cake batter into prepared pan. Top with spiced batter filling. Swirl with knife. Top with remaining batter.
- Bake 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
